Harrison Medical Center and Harrison HealthPartners

Welcome to Harrison Medical Center on the western shores of the Puget Sound in Washington state, where a wealth of personal and professional opportunity awaits.

Harrison Medical Center is a growing healthcare system spanning five major campuses, including:

  • Harrison Medical Center Bremerton -
the system's regional, acute-care hospital, featuring a level III trauma center, the Heart and Vascular Center, and the regions finest cancer program.
  • Harrison Silverdale - a multispecialty center that includes inpatient and outpatient surgery for a variety of specialties, including urology, and featuring the latest da Vinci robotic surgical system. Also includes 24-hour emergency care, obstetrics and gynecology. The Harrison Orthopaedic Center, a full-service surgical and rehabilitation facility, opens here in early fall 2013.
  • Harrison Port Orchard - with urgent care, family medicine, internal medicine, and rheumatology.
  • Harrison Belfair - featuring an urgent
care center and primary care for the
    whole family.

    medicine, rheumatology, and urology.

Harrison is a leading provider of state-of-the-art healthcare services including award-winning cardiovascular care from the Heart & Vascular Center at Harrison.

Our heart team includes board certified:

  • cardiologists
  • cardiothoracic surgeons
  • cardiovascular anesthesiologists
  • vascular surgeons
  • electrophysiologists
  • specialty-trained nurses
  • specialty-trained technicians

Working together, our team uses the most advanced techniques and equipment so that
each patient receives world-class healthcare close to home.

With the highest quality standards as our goal, our cardiologists' door-to-balloon times are well below the national average, and our cardiothoracic surgical team has achieved a prestigious "Three-Star Rating" from the Society of Thoracic Surgery.

The Heart & Vascular Center at Harrison
features state-of-the-art technology in a cardiac catheterization lab, a cardiac/peripheral interventional lab, and an electrophysiology lab.

This technology allows cardiologists to perform advanced procedures like coronary chronic total occlusions, Patent Foramen Ovales (PFOs), and atrial fibrillation ablations.

The 12-bed pre- and post-care nursing unit is
just steps away from the procedure labs. This $15 million investment offers patients a full scope of minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures and care in one streamlined center.

Our CoC-accredited cancer program recognizes that patients and their families begin a challenging journey when they receive a cancer diagnosis.

At Harrison, we provide the full continuum of cancer care, from prevention and diagnosis, to the most advanced surgical, chemotherapy, radiation and complementary therapy treatments, to clinical trials and survivorship care planning, and hospice and palliative care.

Our medical oncology team continues to grow, to include cancer specialists who have received world-class training, certified oncology nurses, and support staff. What's more, our medical oncologists are all part of Harrison HealthPartners, giving patients the full benefit of a team approach to their care.

Harrison's Orthopaedic Services team of more than 100 specialists, orthopaedic nurses, and physical and occupational therapists - restore the lives of hundreds of patients every year.

Our award winning patient programs, such as our Passport Program for joint replacements, Arthritis Living Normal Program and patient directed DOCtalks, are designed to meet the unique orthopaedic needs of our community.

We are actively and collectively engaged in partnering with our patients to keep them in motion and help them do the things they love.

In August 2013, the new Harrison Orthopaedic Center at Silverdale was opened - a state-of-the-art orthopaedic hospital and rehabilitation center just for orthopaedic patients

It is an exciting time for orthopaedics at Harrison and we are delighted to extend an invitation to new team members.

The Orthopaedic Alliance on the peninsula brings together more than a dozen skilled orthopaedic specialists and board-certified orthopaedic surgeons. This cooperative alliance works with Harrison Medical Center to ensure patients receive coordinated care from the time of diagnosis, through rehabilitation and recovery. The Orthopaedic Alliance collaborated with Harrison to design The Orthopaedic Center at Harrison, a 24-bed specialty facility that opens in early fall of 2013, bringing state-of-the-art orthopaedic care close to home.
